Applying coatings on parts of the turboshaft engine (such as rotor discs and rings, compressor blades made of titanium alloys, nozzle and rotating blades, hot zone cases) enables one to increase their service life due to a significant increase in erosion and corrosion resistance of the substrate, oxidation resistance, and high anti-diffusion properties. Applying the coatings on parts of rocket engines (e.g., parts of fuel pumps and turbines for rocket engines) solves the problem of repeated start of the engine, which is associated with seizure during deceleration.
