New ceramic materials system Ti-Ta-C, obtained by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) from mechanically (MA) in the blend used as targets for magnetron sputtering, and electrodes for spark alloying. Coatings of Ti-Ta-C in addition to increased resistance to high temperature have good biocompatibility and non-toxicity and are in demand in biomedicine.
