NONDESTRUCTIVE METHOD OF TESTING GEOMATERIAL STRUCTURE AND REGULATIONS COMPLIANCE BY THE METHOD OF THERMALLY STIMULATED ACOUSTIC EMISSION (TSAE) Geomaterials quality control by nondestructive method of determining their break down point by TSAE is of great importance for enterprises which deal with production and restorations of items made of decorative and ornamental stones. Use of deficient raw material results in high expenses while deterioration of consumptive qualities during traditional destructive tests is not acceptable. The present method is developed for enterprises which deal with production and restorations of items made of decorative and ornamental stones. It evaluates deficiency of the offered/used product without deteriorating its consumptive qualities. It will also help to minimize costs associated with producing defected goods of decorative and ornamental stones as well as with restoration due to the same reason. Thus the method provides for more efficient production due to cost-effective use of resources. The advantage of the method is ease of use and resulting low cost of realization. Besides nondestructive control by TSAE method can be used for objects of aby form or size. The only requirement is that the object need to have one flat surface to contact wave guide which receives acoustic signals. Work copy of the unit has been created. The technology is fully ready for use.
