Synthesis of Intermetallic Sm2FE17Nx Based Hard Coercivity Nanostructured Hard Magnetic Materials

СИНТЕЗ ВЫСОКОКОЭРЦИТИВНЫХ НАНОСТРУКТУРИРОВАННЫХ МАГНИТОТВЕРДЫХ МАТЕРИАЛОВ НА ОСНОВЕ ИНТЕРМЕТАЛЛИДА Sm2Fe17Nx
Sm2FE17compound is an easy-magnetic plane type anosotropy magnetic. Nevetherless imbedding of nitrogen, hydrogen or carbon into its lattice results not only in the increase of its primitive unit cell volume but also leads to a new magnetic anisotropy type. Sm2FE17compound becomes an uniaxial magnetic which makes it possible to obtain on its basis magnets with properties competitive with Nd-Fe-B alloy system considered the strongest for today. Research held at the Physical Materials Science department in collaboration with scientists from Moscow State University (Pr.Verbetzsky) ( analysis of Sm2Fe17NX nitride pulse structure state and magnetic properties) aims to close the above mentioned gaps and to develop a technology to obtain magnets on its base.
