Nanostructured Ceramic Materials. SiC based materials have unique properties such as low volume weight, high strength and hardness, heat- and oxidation resistance, low coefficient of thermal expansion, special dielectric properties. These properties provide for wide range of indudtrial application: space industry, aviation technology, defence, oil and gas extraction, microelectronics. But the process of obtaining non-poros silicon carbide based materials needs very high temperatures (over 2000C) and long hours of thermal processing under special conditions. It is an extremly big technological challenge. Thus an efficient method of obtaining non-poros silicon carbide based ceramics of world standard quality at much lower temperature (below 1700C) and within shorther sintering time is a vital scientific task.
