Currently, limited capacity of the electric main is an acute problem of energy sector that determines the increased interest of the thermally stable aluminum alloys. These alloys have to combine high strength and electrical conductivity even after heating up to 250-300 °C. Alloy ATsr1E with the addition of zirconium, was developed, including a full technological cycle of wire obtaining, in NUST "MISIS". Alloy has no analogues in Russia. Pilot batch of ATsr1E wires, obtained by public corporation «Kirscable», successfully passed the tests in Union Scientific Research Institute of Electric Power according to GOST 839-80. The invention relates to aluminum-based materials and can be used in various products for electrical purposes , in particular, high-voltage power line cables with complex of high mechanical, electrical and technological properties, including after heating to 300 ° C, designed for use in areas with severe climate. ATsr1E contains 0.3-0.7 wt.% zirconium, 0.1-0.6 wt.% Fe, 0.04-0.2 wt.% silicon and 0.005-0.2 wt.% cerium . Alloy structure is a aluminum solid solution with uniformly distributed Al3Zr nanoparticles (with cubic lattice L12) having an average size less than 20 nm, and uniformly distributed compact iron-containing particles having an average size less than 3 microns (Fig. 1b). ATsr1E wire allows to achieve the following indicators after 100 hours of heating at 300 °C: ultimate strength (σв) - 150 MPa, yield strength (σ0, 2) - 120 MPa, elongation (δ) - 10% , t resistivity (ρ) - not more than 29 • 10-9 Ohm • m
