Reactionary Foils for Connecting Heterogeneous and Refractory Materials Multy layer systems consisting of alternating metallic layers, when their thickness is decreased to nanometers, obtain high reactionary properties. Thanks to such unique properties as relatively low temperature of initiation, high speed of reaction and reactionary heat radiation, they are used to connect (by soldering and welding) various materials, including metallic alloys, ceramics, amorphous materials and heat-sensitive electronic components. Combination of methods of high energy mechanical processing and cladding rolling allowed to abtain nanostructured reactionary foils with cladding external layers of plastic metals (ex. Al) and internal reactionary layer with reagents size between 10 and 100 nanometers.
