Modern metallurgy priority target is to obtain products with a set of targeted physical mechanical and end-use properties. One of the solutions of the challenge is a new technology based on combination of methods of pressure treatment of metals, which provides for controllable strain distribution and metal yielding streams inside the shell under the induction of operation instrument. As a rule, non regular distribution of metal yielding streams leads to anisotropy of properties inside the deformed shell. Given specific strain applied to the product and use conditions, this method increases operational life 1.5-2 times. Experimental studies of MISiS scientists (V.P.Romanenko, B.A.Romantsev, S.P.Galkin, E.A.Kharitonov) proved that combination of various schemes of metal yielding in manufacturing process of critical parts can lead to obtaining products with unique properties.
